i've played every single sonic game ever made, i used to be a heavy fan. i used to have all the merchandice, and now i see how stupid it is. it's made for kids, the games have nothing fun in them, sure maybe the explosions are good but really???? they're so plain and boring, there's not many options and it's not realistic. i think i'm going to stick to games that aren't for children, such as batman games or war games. so don't get on me saying i don't play the games, i know them all, from the first pixel game to the newest games like sonic colors (that one was probably the worst, it only took me a DAY to finish it and it was so boring)

Whoops, forgot to mention Tikal being trampled over and nearly KILLED by her FATHERS soldiers and himself.
And Perfect Chaos OBLITERATING Station square.  Including all of the viable innocent people and cars.

Maybe it WAS made for "kids" but, really, that is NOT a reason, at least not in my book.  Surely there aren't many options, but that is the types of games that they are.  It is not supposed to be realistic, not all games are.  It's fiction.
They aren't "plain", nor "boring", they in fact have somewhat deep plots (with the exclusion of some of the newer games) once you actually think about the stories, and at least I find the game play very entertaining, due to the many routes, Chaos Emerald hunts, and the such.  Listen, it's awfully immature for somebody to judge things just because "they're for children", besides, the first few games have had their rating changed to E10+. Do NOT judge a child based on their age.  Most children at that age know about many mature concepts.
It only took me a day to finish generations as well, it isn't supposed to be long.

Also did you really play ALL of them?  Like Sonic Pocket Adventure? Knuckles Chaotix?  Tails and the Music maker?  All of those other obscure titles in the series???

Remember that time that all those "childeren" had to watch Sonic be killed?  When those children watched as a large building was violently torn apart by a tornado with a few of the characters inside it?  Or that time They used words such as: "Damn" "Hell" ect.?  When Eggman directly said to a couple of people: "I'll detroy everything you love, and make you watch" Or "My hands are fine, as long as I can strangle a Zeti."  Or maybe when he supposedly fell to his death into a pit of lava?  Or maybe when Sonic desperately tried to contact any of his friends that had the life being sucked out of them, leaving them dead , along with the world?  Or when Silvers only friend (who also seems to act like a mentor) was sealed into a different dimension, leaving him all alone in a post apocalyptic timeline, leading to a depressing scene for viewers? (Not to mention the fact that Silver is very naive, and needs somebody to guide him when he is unsure what to do.)

If I didn't know any better, I would've said the series is for teenagers and up, how about you?

knuckles chaotix was a fun game, i really like sonic the fighters too. yeah, but do you SEE what kind of stuff is in kids shows nowadays? people SHOOTING eachother is in alot of kids shows, guns guns and more guns. personally i still think it's for kids, and i suppose i'm not changing my mind. but i see you must really be a dedicated fan to have typed out that long of a fucking comment so, i'm going to back off.

Shooting?  In kids shows and games?  I don't think so...  I've certainly seen shooting with an unrealistic gun in kids stuff, but real guns?  I'm curious, what kids shows and games have that?
I still think the series is for all ages..  And I've even seen people reaching their thirties and still are fans.  I guess I will respect your opinion and leave it at that.

And yes, yes I am a dedicated fan..  Too dedicated for my own good.
